I offer psychotherapy on a once or twice per week basis.

Do you offer in-person therapy sessions in Bristol?

I offer face-to-face therapy sessions in a central Bristol location (Redcliffe, BS1) on Tuesday afternoons.

I offer online therapy sessions on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Thursdays.

The cost for each (50-minute) session is £95.

Sessions start and end on time. If you arrive late, I will see you for the remainder of your appointment time. In the unlikely event of me running late, I will discuss alternative options with you. I won’t charge you for any time lost due to me.

What about missed sessions?

Upon making a therapy commitment together, a consistent weekly (or potentially twice-weekly) space is prioritised for you.

If you let me know that you’ll be unable to attend your regular session for any reason (e.g., sickness, holidays, or other personal circumstances) you’ll be charged 50% of the usual session cost (i.e., £47.50).

I charge the full session cost for any sessions missed with less than a full day’s notification.

I take occasional breaks throughout the year and provide you with several weeks notice for any planned cancellations. I do not charge for any weeks where I am unavailable.

Therapy sessions are routinely scheduled for 50 minutes.

We can discuss your needs and hopes for therapy during your first two sessions, including your preference for time-limited or open-ended therapy. If working together does not appear to be suitable I may make suggestions for additional or alternative help elsewhere.

If I were to become unable to continue with your therapy, I would endeavour to provide as much notice as possible (at least three months). You may however decide to end therapy at any time.

Can you see my child?

I work with people aged 17 years and older.

You are welcome to enquire on behalf of a young adult. I’ll let you know if I have availability, and if so, I’ll then ask you to invite them to contact me directly.

I really hope so. However, we live in a cisheteronormative, White privileged, ableist, patriarchal culture, so there might be moments where we replicate this in the therapy space, despite our best intentions.

I am committed to ongoing learning, and I do my best to create a space where you can let me know about anything I may do, say, or overlook which differs to your values, experiences, perspectives, or priorities, or feels otherwise unhelpful to you.

You’re also welcome to ask about my identities. I’ll do my best to provide you with a thoughtful and helpful answer.

Regrettably, the therapy room that I routinely use is not wheelchair accessible: there is no lift and the room is on the first floor (upstairs). There are also a few steps at the front door.

The chairs in the therapy room have a maximum weight capacity of approximately 150kgs.

If either of these limitations cause a barrier for you, please let me know so that we can think together about possible solutions.

I have experience of working with professional interpreters, and am happy to work in this way (you would need to cover the interpreter costs, please).

If you have requirements around session duration, limiting eye contact, narrating non-verbal communication, lighting, or any other sensory needs, please let me know so that I can try to make things work.

If you have any other accessibility requirements, please do feel free to ask.

You can book a therapy session by contacting me by email. I’ll try to find an appointment that works for you and ask you to complete some forms. Please see the fees and booking page by clicking here to find out more.
